Congratulations 8th Grade Graduates!

“The Lord Himself goes before you and will be you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8

June 10th was a special day for 17 Hope Lutheran eighth graders as they received their hard-earned diploma and said goodbye to teachers, coaches and friends, many of whom had taught, coached, guided, encouraged and challenged them for many years. “This is a great class and a hard one to say goodbye to. Four students have been here since preschool 3, and four parents of students in this class attended Hope as students which has not happened in recent memory!” commented Principal Mrs. Okabayashi. All graduates were accepted into their top choice of high school. Twelve students will be attending Seattle Lutheran High school, two students are undecided and three will be attending Kennedy High School, Choice Academy and Seattle Prep.

Here are some pictures from that special day. Thank you to Richard Figgins and parents for some of these photos.
