Great Turn Out at the 13th Annual Eagle Classic

This weekend, 67 golfers and a number of devoted volunteers stepped foot on the course at Foster Golf Links in support of our Hope athletes. Athletic Director, Brett Kapels, first hosted this tournament 8 years ago with 23 players, and God continues to bless us each and every year as the tournament continues to grow. Unofficially, we counted 16 new players this year which is great!

The most common reason for those not participating in the golf tournament has something to do with “I’ve never golfed before” or “I’m not any good at golf.” This is the best time to play then! You are playing with a team and all four members tee off. You pick the best shot, and the other three members pick up their ball and drop at that spot. Then all four hit from there. It takes the stress and worry out of it and puts in all the fun! We know there are many more players out there who would love to play in the tournament, and we invite you to come play at the Eagle Classic in 2016!
