6th and 7th Grade Students Raise Money for Families in Africa

 

This past month, the students in my 6th and 7th grade Religion classes were challenged to raise their OWN money to buy animals for suffering families in Africa through World Vision. These amazing students brought in a total of $421.00!!! The best part was the cheerful faces they had when they delivered their donations.  It truly is better to give than to receive.

We were able to buy 4 goats, 8 chickens and 3 ducks!!

I have been so moved by their response!  There are some amazing, giving, loving students at Hope Lutheran School.  I am so blessed to be able to teach them everyday!!!
