Graduation by Kristen Okabayashi
Each school year seems to speed by faster than the last one, and this year is no exception. That being said, this unusual June weather does help us realize that summer is almost here! With the sun and water beckoning us, it is about time for summer break.
Most of you will come back to us next fall, rested and rejuvenated and ready for another great year of learning and growth! Congratulations to our preschool 4s students, who will graduate on Thursday up to kindergarten. We also say good bye to our graduating 8th graders this Friday night at 7:00 in our church sanctuary, which is so bittersweet. We wish them well and know that they are prepared for high school, and yet we will miss our day to day interactions with them so much. This year’s graduates are an athletic and social group as a whole, and have joyfully led our school all year. Guillermo, Sofie, Gavin, Elliott, Callie, Zac, Owen, Kaleb, Maddie, Andrew, David, Mikayla, Hannah, Logan, Michael, Dea, and Langston, you are loved and will be missed!
Happy last week of school everyone, and blessings on your summers!
