A Snowy Day, by Kristen Okabayashi
I hope you all enjoyed the snow yesterday; what a beautiful day it was! No one has asked yet about making up snow days, but I know those of you from public schools are used to having to make those days up. At Hope, we build in a few extra days into our calendar just in case something happens like a snow day; at this point we have only missed one official day and are nowhere close to adding days of school. So enjoy making those snowmen with joy and peace!
Thank you to our staff, students and some parent volunteers who helped shovel snow and ice off the sidewalks this morning! It was a huge help to us and we appreciate everyone pitching in. It takes a village!
