Welcome Back!
We are so excited for the first day of school today! There was a palpable feeling of joy around the campus this morning as students and families returned. Thank you so much to our parents and teachers of Hope (PTH) president Melanie and her team for bringing delicious treats for the first day.
This summer was a time of change for Hope with 8 new teachers and staff and of course the addition of a second campus for the first time in our history. Despite all of those changes, today seemed like a fairly normal first day for Hope! We are glad to be back and glad you are all part of our Hope family.

Student Medical Information Update
If your student requires taking medication during the school day, requires an Epi Pen, inhaler or even might need the occasional Benadryl for allergies, ect., the offices must have an authorization form filled out and signed by the parent. This form can be obtained in either office or emailed to you and must be on file before medication can be given. All medications will be held in the campus office where your child’s homeroom is located.. Epi pens, and all meds, should be brought to school by the parent/adult and given to the office staff on the first day of school. If there is any change in your student’s medical history or insurance, such as an ADHD diagnosis, new IEP/504 plan, new medication, please email the school office so we can update your student’s history in GradeLink.

Hope will be supporting 5 different organizations this year through chapel offerings. For the months of September and October, chapel offerings will be donated to the K-9 Comfort Dog program through Lutheran Church Charities. K-9 comfort dogs are purebred Golden Retrievers that are trained comfort dogs that can be deployed in the event of a disaster or crisis. These dogs and their handlers travel to locations to give comfort to those who are suffering or in need. There are over 130 comfort dogs in the US. Isaac is the closest comfort dog to us coming from Redeemer Lutheran Church in Spokane, WA. Isaac also has his own Facebook page. You can visit him at Isaac Comfort Dog to learn more about Isaac and the K-9 Comfort Dog program.
