WOH For May 9, 2017

Posted May 9, 2017 by Shari Wallace & filed under School Newsletter.

Artists at Display by Janet Manuta, Art Teacher

The students at Hope Lutheran are proud to present their artwork at Hotwire Online Coffee House for the month of May. Each grade has displayed examples of the projects they have completed this school year. The children have used the Elements of Art and Principles of Design to create art that demonstrates a variety of art techniques and styles. They have created art in the style of such artists as Picasso, Matisse, Van Gogh, Haring and Warhol. Each work of art is unique to the personality and creativity of the individual student.

Mrs. Manuta feels so fortunate to be a part of the Hope Lutheran community and will continue to expand the minds of all students through the arts. She believes that every child has the potential to express themselves, explore new ways of making art, and be proud of their creations.

Please stop by Hotwire to see our art show! Of course you are always welcome to walk through the hallways to see what your children have been working on in art class.
