Are you struggling to get in the Christmas spirit this year? Or can you not get enough Christmas spirit? Either way, Hope Church and School has many opportunities for you to join us in waiting for Jesus, as we gather together in community to celebrate His upcoming birth. The school has three Christmas performances coming up in the next week, and the church offers a Sunday School performance, three Christmas Eve services to choose from, and a service on Christmas Day. Mark these dates on your calendar and find your Christmas spirit with our Hope family!

Scholastic Book Fair This Week – December 9-13
The Scholastic Book Fair is here December 9-13 with a special family event scheduled for tonight, December 10. Volunteers are the motivators to help any Book Fair become a success. We hope that you share with us your skills to help students discover the power of reading. We are seeking cashiers on these dates from 3-4 PM Dec. 9-13 and Dec. 10 from 7:30-8:30 PM. As a cashier you will get to connect and get to know other students. You can make a real impact and help students find books that they can’t wait to read!
Eagle Winter Hardwood Classic – This Sat. December 14, 9:30 AM
A 60th Anniversary Celebration and Athletic Fundraiser will be held this Saturday, December 14th from 9:30-11:30am at Seattle Lutheran High School gym (The Menashe Gymnasium). Cost is $5 for students and/or Hope Alumni and $10 general admission. No pre-registration needed as anybody 5th grade and older can participate. We will have complementary refreshments, $5 raffle tickets & prizes. Events include: 3-Point contest, Bump (with $1 buy-in if you get knocked out!), possibility of staff versus student scrimmage (depending on total number of participants).

Christmas Spirit Dress-Up Days – Dec. 16-20
Your Student Council is hosting a fun week of spirit dress up days! Please note that if you choose not to participate on these days, school uniforms must be worn. Let’s show our Christmas spirit!
Monday Dec.16 -“Merry Monday Morning”- come to school in your winter pjs like its Christmas morning!
Tuesday Dec.17 – Holiday scarves, ties, jewelry, socks/tights (worn with your school uniform)
Wednesday Dec.18 – Christmas sweatshirts & sweaters (worn with your school uniform)
Thursday Dec.19 – Holiday hats, antlers & headbands (worn with your school uniform)
Friday Dec. 20 – All-Out Christmas (wear all the red/green/Christmas clothes you have!)
