WOH For Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018

Posted December 18, 2018 by Shari Wallace & filed under School Newsletter.

Christmas Blessings by Kristen Okabayashi

As I write this newsletter, our school and church have finished up our four Christmas programs for the season. I know most of you have joined us for at least one, if not more, of the programs. These events are a highlight of the year for me every single year. From the sweetness of seeing the first graders sing and do hand motions to “Let it Snow” to the beauty of the third graders leading all of us in singing “Silent Night”, from the 3 years old dressing up as sheep to our middle school students singing solos and showing us their amazing musical abilities, I feel so proud of our students.

These programs bring out my maternal side, and it reminds me that this is how God looks at us as well. I never really understood how God could love us so much, until I became a mom myself and understood that unconditional love. God loves us so much that He sent His Son to us, a day we are preparing to celebrate!

We wish you a peaceful and joyous holiday season, wherever you may be. Merry Christmas!
