Words of Hope for Tuesday, June 10, 2014
Admissions by Sally Heit, Admissions Counselor
Can it be June already? According to the calendar we have two and half days left and we are done for the year! Crazy. As we close the year, I’d like to take a moment to say ‘thank you’ to all the volunteers who have helped with open houses and school events. It truly takes the work of a team to showcase this amazing school, and I appreciate your enthusiasm and hard work.
One of the best parts of my job is touring families and introducing them to our students, and we have had approximately 84 visiting families walk through our doors this year to see what great things we are doing here at Hope. That is so exciting! Worthy of note is that the majority of them (64%) visit because you (our parents and grandparents) have told your friends and family to come check us out! That is AWESOME! We have a great group of new students arriving in the fall which we are so excited about. Thank you so much for supporting our school and continuing to help us grow to be the best school we can be. Blessing on your summer!

Golf Tournament Results
Thanks to everyone who came out on a beautiful Saturday morning to support Hope Lutheran Athletics at the 12th Annual Eagle Classic at Foster Golf Links! Fun, laughs and perhaps a little bit of good-natured trash talking was the name of the game, and thanks to our generous donors, we had quite a few prizes to hand out during lunch. This event would not be possible without the help of the volunteers and generous sponsors and contributors to the tournament. As you go about your summer errands, consider stopping by any of these businesses to say thanks and give them your support.

We are looking for parent and student volunteers to help decorate and drive the bus the morning of the parade, wear the Eagle mascot (perfect for a student), pass out candy, carry the school banner, wave poms poms and have fun! If you are interested, please call the school office or email Sally Heit @ sheit@hopeseattle.org for more information. Go Eagles!
