Faith Focused

"When I came to hope, I was instantly welcomed. I've learned about God, made friends, and become a better student." Hope student

Student Centered

"The teachers really care about their students and want them to succeed. Though HOPE is a small school, it's big in many ways. I know my child is getting a good education, is being challenged academically and in a safe environment." Hope Parent

Nurturing Excellence

"One reason why I love Hope Lutheran School is the class size. I really feel like my son has the opportunity to get the help that he needs when he needs it...so that he can really shine." Hope parent

Learning about being thankful to others, even for the smallest of things, led second grade to create notecards for each student and staff member at Hope through a fun art project using paint and old QFC cards to blend colors. After cutting and collating their cards together they delivered them to ...each class. They presented their project at chapel tying it to the lesson where Jesus healed the 10 men with leprosy. Only one came back and said thank you and praise God. God honors thankfulness. #hopeseattle #hopelutheranstrong #chapelreadings #secondgrade #elementaryschoolseattle

Hope School prioritizes community. One of the ways we build community in our student body is to pair younger classes with older classes. Preschool is paired with our 8 grade leaders, so our youngest students can build relationships with our oldest students, playing, learning, and growing together... ❤️.

Hope School Chapel Offerings for October:

Thank you for your offerings for Lutheran Church Charities – K-9 Comfort Dog Program during the month of September.

We are making a change for chapel offerings during October and are directing our offerings to the Southeastern District ...of the LCMS (Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod) for Hurricane Helene relief. The Southeastern District in coordination with Lutheran Disaster Response and LERT (Lutheran Emergency Response Teams) are working with those directly affected by Hurricane Helene. Thank you for your continued offerings to help those in need.

Students can continue to bring their chapel offerings on Wednesday to chapel in their yellow envelope.

Thank you to everyone for coming out to the Tall and Small Ball! There were over 200 people in attendance Friday night! Thank you to the PTH for hosting a fun and engaging event to kick off the year! If you have not attended a PTH meeting or volunteered to assist at one of their events, you need to... put that on your to-do list. Our parent group supports Hope School in so many ways and while doing so, creates community among our parents, students and staff.

The next event is the Trunk-Or-Treat on Saturday, October 26th!

Fall Olympics! It's a Hope tradition where our students form teams, integrating all grades and working as a team to run relays, toss shoes, fly airplanes, and catch goldfish. These simple but fun games unite our students and teaches them how to work together but also how to support one ...another. Parents cheer them on, and teachers coach their students to the finish. It's a great day filled with laughter and school spirit. Go Eagles! #hopelutheranstrong #hopeseattle #hopeseattlemiddleschool #hopeseattleelementary #westseattle

Cheer on the Eagles at Zion Lutheran tomorrow, Oct 8! Start time is 3:45 so allow travel time. Fifth grader, Sienna, got third place in the Hope Meet last Tuesday!

Go Eagles!
