Discover the Hope Difference
by Heather Eggleston, Admissons Director
What makes a great school? Strong academics certainly matter, but research reminds us that meaningful relationships are equally essential to a child’s success. I recently read a Harvard University publication, Young Children Develop in an Environment of Relationships, which emphasizes that positive relationships with teachers and peers play a vital role in children’s intellectual, social, and emotional development. The research describes relationships as the “active ingredients” of healthy human development.
At Hope Lutheran School, I get to see this truth in action every day. Hope is a school where every child is known; our dedicated teachers and the close-knit Christian community create an environment where children feel safe, valued, and are truly cared for. These meaningful connections foster confidence, curiosity, kindness, and a love of learning. It’s evident children thrive when they feel they belong.
Help us share what makes Hope so special! Invite your friends and neighbors to meet our teachers and learn more about our program and community. If you have children who will be moving on from our preschool program or heading to the north campus next fall, this is an excellent chance to get refamiliarized with our classrooms and askquestions about those next steps in their academic journey!
