PTH (Parents and Teachers of Hope) News by Beth Grotelueschen, PTH President
Greetings, Hope families!
Our PTH board has had several meetings both before school started & during the school year, and we are working on making our school a better place for our children and our community. Just recently, we voted to fund a drama elective for the middle school kids to complement the 5th Ave Theater coming into the school to perform for grades K-5th.
Important Date: October 8th – 5:30PM First All Hands/General Meeting. Childcare provided, and as an incentive to attend, each family who attends will be entered into a drawing to receive a free dress day for their student(plus PIP hours for you).
Some upcoming events to look forward to are:
1st Quarter- Fun Run (Kick-off today, event Oct 27th)
Selling Safety Whistles w/Hope Logos (October)
2nd Quarter- Believe Gifts Catalog (Nov. kick-off with Dec. delivery in time for Christmas!)
Holiday Wreaths & Trees
We are still working on many fun activities/fundraisers for the 3rd & 4th quarter & are always willing to hear suggestions. One of the main goals for the Fun Run will be to put together a fund for a new school bus. We have many great board members and have enough activities going on that we are always looking for volunteers. It’s a great way to meet people, have fun and get your PIP hours done. Oh yes, and if anyone is interested in helping with the auction for next year, we are beginning planning on that ASAP.
Here’s to a terrific school year and all of God’s rich blessings on you and your family.
