Curriculum Night September 24
Curriculum Night is coming up next Tuesday evening, September 24; we hope all our K-8 parents and guardians are able to join us to hear more about current teaching curriculum, school policies and procedures, and other school updates.
This year, we will begin the evening in the sanctuary at 6:30 PM for a PTH meeting. At 7:00, we will kick off Curriculum Night in the sanctuary for general information about school-wide updates. Next, K-5 families will go visit their child’s classroom to learn more about what is happening this year in each class, and middle school families will remain in the sanctuary to hear from all middle school teachers. Families with more than one child will be able to visit other classrooms after the first session to pick-up information about upcoming projects, and visit with teachers.
We look forward to seeing you next Tuesday night; please let us know if you have any questions in the meanwhile.

Parent Involvement Program or PIP Opportunities
Lunch Room Parent – It’s a great way to connect with kids mid-day, see the lunch room in all its fun and flurry, and it’s a short weekly (or biweekly) commitment from 11:40 am to 12:50 pm. Help our teachers get the mid-day break they need.
Recess Parent – Come play outside! Even in the winter months you can get some Vitamin D and a quick hug on the playground. Hours are 12:00 to 1:05 pm. One day a week or more!
If you can help with any of these times, please contact Shari Wallace at swallace@hopeseattle.org or (206) 935-8500.
