Masquerade Auction 2024 by Kristen Okabayashi, Principal
The annual Hope auction is quickly approaching on March 9, 2024! The primary purpose of the auction is of course to raise funds for the Parents and Teachers of Hope (PTH), a group which runs numerous programs which support the school – parent speakers, class parties, teacher supplies, and many other important resources.
A huge secondary purpose of the auction is to build up our amazing Hope community. Last year’s auction was financially very successful, but in addition it was a total blast! With a strong turnout from families, we had fun chatting at the beginning, celebrating during the live auction, and then dancing until the wee hours. We know the tickets are not inexpensive, but please consider joining the party if you have not already bought tickets. You may purchase tickets online through February 23 at https://hopeseattle.ejoinme.org/MasqueradeTickets
This year’s special Fund-A-Need will go towards elementary technology. We would like to finish off our purchase of Chromebooks for grades 2-5 including charging carts, allowing each student to have their own Chromebook for in-class work, in addition to updating iPads in kindergarten and first grade. With a goal of $25,000, this technology will help our teachers and students implement technology into everyday classroom work.
