Curriculum Night By Kristen Okabayashi, Hope School Principal
Curriculum Night is coming up next Tuesday, September 24 and we can’t wait to see you all! Curriculum night is for K-8 families and while its stated purpose is reviewing curriculum materials, the night includes so much more.
The evening begins with a PTH (Parents and Teachers of Hope) meeting at 6:00 PM. Topics will be the upcoming budget, auction information, and volunteer opportunities. Next will be curriculum night; we will kick things off in the sanctuary and review important school policies and discuss school culture. After the opening session, middle school families will remain in the sanctuary and K-5 families will head to classrooms; all teacher will review their curriculum learning materials at that time. This is also your opportunity to ask questions about what will be covered in class, teaching protocols, and/or upcoming events. The last session is intended to be a self-guided tour of classrooms for families with more than one child at Hope or anything you might have missed.
We look forward to seeing you next Tuesday night!
